Between Here and There

Tell you something: there's no place like California, however, there's a place called Home. Truth is, I actually haven't got one at the moment. I mean, I have many of them, but well, I'm now living here and there and in between. No, sometimes home is not necessarily where your heart is. And it's not always fun, It can be hard, too. Nomad lifestyle? It's a lifestyle one must try sometimes :)

So here's the news: despite so many adventures I had so far, it's official: I'm home sick to my bones! Yea, I'm coming to visit! ;) I figure it's not gonna be enough time to do everything and to see everybody in this 14 and so days, since meanwhile I have some work to do 2, but still, we have some serious catch up to do!! It's been a loooong amazing summer ... but this Summer is not even over ;)

Here, this is my timeline from the middle of June, in case you are a bit confused when one moment I twitt from here, and the second from there ... just in case someone is curious, lol!

I'm now captain Jack myself.

I'm almost ready for Jack Sparrow to pick me up at Gibraltar port which, (not) surprisingly enough, is actually - an airport. An airport by the sea placed under a huuuge rock. Yes, a rock.
But let's go back to Jack. The case is - he's not really coming. Because, metaphorically speaking, I'm now a captain Jack myself! And my ship doesn't have a crew, it least not this time. Which means I'll have to conquer the British island all by my self. As far this that is concerned, it happened before - in a way, but still, you are welcomed to keep your fingers crossed for me. I have a battle to win on 8. August in London. It's called IELTS.

Luckily, the wind is remarkably good ...

Celebration of Life (in Tarifa)

Hey, my precious readers & viewers! :) As my Facebook friends and Twitter followers from you already got the idea - the flow (&the plan) has brought me to the southernmost tip of Europe - Tarifa, a lovely spanish town full of natural beauty, long sandy beaches, kite and wind surfers & hot lookin' boyz and gurlz, not to mention the astonishing history and endless possibilities to set yourself free and make your body and soul re:feel the nature ... and the people in it... and U2!

It all seems to me like a celebration of everything I've ever done ...
So I've traveled here just to expand the trust to the plan Universe has prepared for me? Maybe.
Ready to take a jump to the colourful Unknown? Yeees. & U2 can feel it...

LA Gurlz

So guess who I 'ran into' today? Aaaa - Ana Colja, the rock rockin rockstar girl (see the shot on the right side of this blog!) She's been now living in West Hollywood for one year and the last time I saw her was two years ago! She finds out I'm in LA through her mom by the phone! - anyway, so today she drove me around with rockin LA music playin very loud and took me to this pool party: we danced, talk to some ppl, drink a beer and made lots of fun shots ... it was Perfect.

Yo, Rock Rockin Rockstar!

Interestingly, the year 2009 has proven to be some year to rocking remember! If anyone would told me last year at this time that I will be in 09 excepted to postgraduate study of photography at famous Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London AND that I will be actually going to Los Angeles to take photos of the real legends AND that someone will make a MOVIE about me - I would just smile (and roll my eyes). But I'm pinching my hand: it is all f**king happening ...

I was told yesterday by a guy I never met before I'm a rising star and that I should ride my bike like tomorrow never comes. Oh, don't worry, I will - although for now I'll keep my feet on the ground while stick my eyes on the road: and when I'll see a green light - trust me, I'll hit the gas like there is no tomorrow ...

Behind The White Scenes of 'Some Thing'

Holding hands was sweet, kissing even more, but making love was THE BEST THING EVER!

Yeah, you wish!!! ;)

In case you're wondering what the heck is going on here, you should imagine that nothing is like it seems - forget 'relax' - nothing was under control in this a.k.a. bedroom of post afterparty heaven! On that Tuesday when I organized the shooting for the final 'Intosomething' K4 flyer, previous night I was still on the trip from ex -Yugoslavia and I was nothing less then dead tired from the brutal lack of sleep, body hurting & deeply stressed out when I find out one of my models had to cancel the shoot in the last minute, and last but not least - because there was the Big Brother a.k.a. Haidy behind the video camera watching every step I made!
BUT luckely, I had all the right people around me again, and I had my Vision. My vision about the shot was pure & clear: everybody loves everybody at the end of the good party. Gender-free love. The ultimate White fantasy. The sexual heat bettween boys & girls. Nothing is forbidden and nothing is taboo - and this is how my dream cames true. (Fak, to se rima!!:))
And yes, together we made it, the final result is not bad at all: in fact - it's pure heaven! (You'll see it soon!) So, while in and out was kaos in white, the switched off fuse, the baloons, the plastic, the white fabrics, hens, the sheets, the naked bodys, - but please, who can really feel cranky with that smell of passion all over the place? (The passion for a good photo is just like the make out before really good sex.) And there was mr. White Rabbit, of course. The only one who was in control. All the time. And only he knows what was really going on there ... but if you'll ask him, he'll probably just say: "It was Some Thing(s)" ... yez, he's that cool. ;)

So, this is the beggining ... a little sneak preview of behind the scenes of "SOME THING", only a taste of it. Buahahaha, I'm teasing you, but you know you want it. You want it soooo bad!!

Finally changed my Myspace profile song! (That's news if you do that once every hundred years;) Anywayz, I've been all day long enjoying the post punk indie nouse and sinuous electro funk music of Boys Crisis, Oh, L'homme ... a music for my ears at the moment!

So this five guys says they are on a mission to make you party your way out of the credit crunch. No shit! And they make their own brand of electronic arthouse funk that sounds smart and sleazy, intelligent and hedonistic, and if you ask me - they can be the next MGMT this year.

No shit.

The Last Drop

I love every minute of this picture! Every last little drop of it! You thirsty? ;) It was made on my stunning vacation spending with Mojca and Jakob and loooots of beautiful friends on magical island Crete in Greece.
Now listen to me: nothing, nothiiiiing beats holidays with friends like that, believe me! Not just it's so amazingly crazy - it's just like I dreamed it would be ... no - it's even better, (ne napihujem, res: ampak vem - naj vam raje bolje opišem z besedamiiii??)

Ne znam ... preveč je lepo, it's just P.E.R.F.E.C.T. (and I love you, too! :)

A sem vas malček povlekla s prejšnjim postem? :P Okej, priznam: v resnici so še štirje dnevi do Grčije z Mojco in Jakobom in en dan do Opatije z Manco! 14 ur do poslovilnega partya ((yeeeees!)) od Ljubljane. Aha, takšen anaunsment je potreben, ker je že čas, ker sem nenasitno potrebna relaxa, brezkompromisne norosti in tehle stvari ... meša se mi!!
