Sorry, I have to disagree. Most of the tips are oriented towards water, paper/trees and CO2.
How would going vegetarian once a week solve the water problem. To claim that you must be unaware of the fact that the water is not a global problem, it is in fact a very local problem. Places that have water will have water no mater what they eat. There is NO WAY you can cause shortage of water in Sweden for instance. Any water saving tip only makes sense in areas where there is no water. Go vegetarian once a week for the love of good vegetables, not for the water.
Paper is another environmentalist myth. Paper is made from trees that are grown for paper production. It is not made from rainforest trees or from your local park. Actually paper production INCREASES the amount of green surface, since the plantations are carefully planned and never completely harvested. The numbers of saved trees/week are absolutely unsubstantiated.
As for CO2, I won't even go there. It makes me sick.
Oh, and by the way, I urge you to use the cruise control in Slovenia... See how far you'd get.
HIGH ON LIFE (originally Zadeta od Lajfa™) is a blog of a photographer Marta Lamovsek - since she embarked on the wild bumpy journey of pursuing her dreams back in 2007. While her blog is now long sleeping, she is for the last 7 years searching for the magic between London and Middle East.
Sorry, Marta, but most of these tips are just a load of crap that's poluting people's minds way more than we could ever polute the planet...
ReplyDeleteSorry, Mr. Mojo, but what are you saying is just so utterly ignorant... Please think about it.
